Following the close of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 10th Sichuan Provincial Committee, which set out arrangements for concentrating efforts on poverty alleviation and building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, Sichuan Party Secretary Wang Dongming travelled to Nanchong the next morning. On 10 July 2015, Wang Dongming visited Yilong County and made a special stop at the company’s Yuyuan Industrial Park. He learned about employment for people experiencing poverty, factory production and company development, and met workers and the company’s management team. He affirmed Yuyuan Electric’s development and expressed his expectations for its future. Wu Jingping, a member of the provincial Party standing committee and secretary-general; Li Zhongbin, Party secretary of Nanchong; officials from relevant provincial departments; and Liu Jing, chair of Yuyuan Electric, accompanied the visit.
