On 2 March 2020, after production had been suspended for nearly a month because of COVID-19, the company began a gradual resumption of operations in accordance with national, provincial and municipal requirements.
Following government guidance for reopening, the company established a dedicated team. Employees returning to Shenzhen from other regions were isolated as required and had their temperatures checked daily, with each person’s return route recorded. The company also purchased sufficient personal protective equipment and provided training on production safety and pandemic precautions, allowing work to resume in an orderly manner while control measures remained in place.
The pandemic affected both the organisation and individual employees. Managers and staff responded positively to the decision to resume operations, supported the applicable policies and requirements, and implemented the relevant precautions while working to restore production safely.
